Jeff & Marco Lindy Hop Workshop

We’re thrilled to be bringing swing dance instructors Jeff Tong and Marco Mazza to Manchester, for an intensive afternoon Lindy Hop workshop aimed at improvers and above.
They’ll be helping us to work on good partner connection, improvisation, and musicality, with their unique infectious and friendly style.

The workshop will be followed by an evening social dance, with the Ben Playford Trio playing live.
COST
£10 in advance for Swing North members.
£30 in advance for non-members.
£35 on the door (subject to availability).
MAKE A WEEKEND OF IT?
Jeff and Marco will be heading over to Liverpool the next day, to do it all again. Super keen beans wishing to do both, will find enough variation in the workshop content.
ABOUT JEFF
Known for his enthusiastic, energetic and cheery nature, Jeff welcomes his students to embrace their individuality and brings out their inner creativity. He teaches weekly across London, holds classes internationally, and champions the idea of gender neutral dancing from grass roots level, and aims to open the minds of seasoned dancers.
His ethos that people should “dance however they like, whatever role they like” means he has a real passion for nurturing people to the best of their abilities. He was also part of the award winning performance troupe, Brat Pack, both dancing as a Leader and a Follower, and is the lead teacher of the Swing Dance troupe, Stomp Squad.
ABOUT MARCO
While Jeff is super efficient, and has sent us a beautiful photo and bio, Marco gets his head on a stick man body, and a blank space. He’s much more reliable though at turning up and delivering kick-ass lindy hop lessons though, which is really all you need to know right now. 🙂

Swing North events follow the S.T.E.P.S. code for safe and friendly events. Inappropriate behaviour is not tolerated, and all rights of admission are reserved.
REFUND POLICY
Swing North is run by volunteers, and does not offer refunds, sorry. You are very welcome though to transfer your place to another person. Just forward them the confirmation email, and ask them to give your name at the door.
