Moving Up Workshops & Saturday Night Party

We have an action packed day lined up for Swing North members and guests, on Saturday 11th May, including a party with David Broad & the Meanwood Valley Stompers.

Are you a regular beginner dancer, who is ready for the next challenge?

Been attending Improvers for a while, and keen to build on what you’ve learned so far?

Our Moving Up Workshops, are aimed at anybody who would like to build on their basic understanding of Lindy Hop fundamentals and patterns. There one for established Improvers who are ready for the next challenge, and another for Beginners who are considering also attending Improvers.

Led by Swing North’s friendly team of volunteer instructors, these afternoon workshops are designed to take your dancing to the next level. Literally!

Then it’s our dancing party in the evening, which is included in the price of the workshops, and starts with a free bonus taster class at 7pm.

BREAKS

There’ll be a short break during each workshop. After your workshop, hang out in our basement lounge area, grab a drink from our bar. You can even order a pizza, if you clear up after yourself, and remove your empty box etc from the building.

Venue: We’re in the basement of Whitworth Locke. Head through the main entrance, through their bar, and down the stairs on the left. Please support our volunteer run bar in the basement. All profits go back into running events like this.
